Punjab Nahi Jaungi (Urdu: پنجاب نہِیں جاؤں گی) is a 2017 Pakistani romantic comedy film, written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and directed by Nadeem Beyg. It stars Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat and Urwa Hocane in lead roles. The story is about a love triangle, between the lead characters, and the film also exhibits the Punjabi culture of Pakistan.
Mehtab Khagga and his family have had generation old ties of love and friendship with Bebojee and her family despite them belonging to 2 different worlds. Fawad Khagga, grandson of Mehtab Khagga, falls in love with his beloved Bebojee’s granddaughter, Amal. He vows to win Amal through the sheer strength of his love. What follows is a test of love, friendship and family and Fawad’s ultimate quest to bring Amal with him to Punjab.
